Sait Eken

TGRT Documentary TV General Manager

Born in Denizli in 1960, Eken graduated from Department of English Language at Istanbul Atatürk Education Institute in 1980.

Between 1981 and 1988, he worked as an English teacher in various cities. In 1988, with a scholarship from the Ministry of National Education, he completed a one-year postgraduate program in English teaching techniques at Moray House College of Education in Edinburgh (Scotland).

Sait Eken began working as a Program and Broadcast Management Director at TGRT Huzur Radyo TV A.Ş. in March 1993. In June 2008, he became the Program Director at TGRT HABER TV A.Ş. Since 2010, he has been involved in the establishment of TGRT Documentary TV and continues to serve as the channel’s general manager. He also holds positions as a board member and senior executive in İhlas Group companies.
