Ahmet Mücahid Ören

Chairman of the Board

Born in Istanbul in 1972, Ahmet Mücahid Ören graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Economics. Between 1989 and 1991, he worked as an IT coordinator at Türkiye Gazetesi, making it one of the first publications in Turkish press to be prepared using computers. During the same period, he served as the general editorial consultant for Türkiye Çocuk Dergisi (Turkey Children’s Magazine). In 1991, while serving as the general manager of TGRT channel, he managed the channel’s infrastructure work and broadcasting process. From 1993 to 2013, he served as the deputy chairman and general manager of İhlas Holding A.Ş. In 2013, he was elected Chairman of the Board and CEO of İhlas Holding A.Ş. Ören is also the chairman of the board of İhlas Yayın Holding A.Ş.

Ahmet Mücahid Ören is a member of numerous international think tanks, professional organizations, and foundations, including the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Atlantic Council, the World Economic Relations Board (DEİK), the Turkish-American Business Council, and the World Economic Forum. He has published many articles.
