Televizyon İzleme Araştırmaları A.Ş (“Television Viewing Research Inc.”) (TİAK) announced the television viewership increase rates for 2018. Among the 29 television channels measured, TGRT News was the channel that increased its viewership the most.

TİAK announced the data on the change in viewership rates of 29 channels, 9 of which are news channels, in 2018. In the statement, it was announced that TGRT News achieved the highest increase compared to the previous year with a rate of 60.24 percent. According to the published data, the channel ranked ahead of national and thematic broadcasting organizations as well as the measured news channels; it was announced that 15 channels experienced a loss of viewers in 2018 compared to the previous year, while 14 channels increased their share.
