The IDA Esports team, part of İhlas Holding, introduced its PUBG Mobile roster for the new season at a signing ceremony.

The signing ceremony was attended by IDA Esports Club President Kadri Yeltekin, İhlas Media Group Digital Assets General Manager Volkan Ormanlı, and the new players Emirhan Gülçiçek, Eren Gülenç, Yusuf Ali Nazlı, and Muhammed Mustafa Çoban.

Starting his speech by stating that they were introducing an operation that he believes will last for many years but is currently based on a foundation of only one year, IDA Esports Club President Kadri Yeltekin said, “At this point, we are signing an agreement with a new team that participated in both the European Championship and the World Cup last year. At this point, as İhlas Holding and İhlas Digital Assets, we believe that we are getting a little closer to our goal of reaching young people. We believe and see that our voice is reaching young people. We are receiving such feedback from outside. With the new team, I believe that our friends will carry our name in the best way both in Europe and worldwide. I welcome our friends and wish them success in the upcoming tournament.”

“WE NEEDED TO BE IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TO MAKE A BIGGER IMPACT”

Volkan Ormanlı, General Manager of İhlas Media Group Digital Assets, stated that they aim to reach young people better as İhlas Digital Assets, and said, “While we were talking about the need to rejuvenate our holding company, we decided that the best way to do this was through esports. We decided on PUBG, one of the games with the highest population. We formed our team, but we needed to be in the Champions League to make a bigger impact. That’s why we made this move. We brought in friends who had previously been in different teams. Our friends have achieved success in both European and world championships. We want to bring more young people into our organization and enable IDA to act as a bridge for us. The support of our sponsors is also very important for us. We are in this formation so that they can also have better communication with these audiences.”

Following the ceremony, a jersey chest sponsorship agreement was signed between Bizim Evler and IDA Esports.
