İhlas News Agency renewed its logo
İhlas News Agency, Turkey’s first private news agency, renewed its logo on its 25th anniversary.
The new logo of İhlas News Agency (IHA), which has been sharing images from all over Turkey and the world with audiences both domestically and internationally since its establishment in 1993, was introduced at a launch event held at the İhlas Holding Building. The meeting began with a presentation of images of significant events captured by IHA in various locations around the world and in Turkey since its founding year.
Speaking at the launch event, İhlas Holding Chairman Ahmet Mücahid Ören said, “We have switched to a logo that will further increase our excitement. I am sure it will contribute to our news production going forward. IHA has 25 years of excellent experience. With the backing of the 50-year-old İhlas publishing group, IHA will achieve new successes.”
Ahmet Mücahid Ören, stating that journalism is an exciting profession and that IHA will move forward confidently with its extensive experience and new logo, said: “Journalism is an exciting profession. The late Enver Bey used to say the same thing. We always did the same thing at Türkiye Newspaper and TGRT News. I am sure the new logo will contribute to news production from now on. We have a very good story behind us, 25 years of experience. We have learned a lot here. With what we have learned, we must now take our services a little further every day.”

Hamit Arvas, General Manager of Ihlas News Agency, emphasized that IHA has been carrying out very important tasks for years and that the sacrifices of its employees have greatly contributed to this success. He said, “There is something in IHA that is not often seen in other institutions. Our colleagues prioritize their duties and their commitment to the institution above everything else. The most important feature of İHA is that it conducts all its R&D work internally. All the systems and software we develop are created by IHA personnel. This brings us closer to success. When an incident occurs, our colleagues have mastered how to react to the incident, how to send it to the center as quickly as possible, with years of experience. That’s why IHA is a very fast, unique institution. The logo is very beautiful, and the meanings it expresses are also very beautiful. There are emotions evoked by red and white. First of all, it tries to represent both the viewfinder and the camera lens. Hopefully, our new logo will bring good fortune.”
Ihlas News Agency (IHA) produces 300 news stories with videos and 1,000 with photos daily, with 1,100 reporters in 51 countries. With an archive of one million videos and 8.5 million photos, IHA generates $10 million in annual service exports.
Following the unveiling of the new logo, Ihlas News Agency General Manager Hamit Arvas and Ihlas News Agency General Publication Coordinator İrfan Altıkardeş, along with regional managers and agency staff, took a group photo, followed by a cake cutting ceremony.
