Digital Assets
A PIONEER OF DIGITAL CHANGE
Operating within the İhlas Media Group, Digital Assets is structured to increase the effectiveness of group companies in digital channels and to lead sustainable digital transformation processes, based on the ever-increasing impact of digital media. In this regard, Digital Assets implements projects aimed at increasing the reach of group media brands such as Türkiye Newspaper, TGRT News, Türkiye Today, Business World in Turkey (Türkiye’de İş Dünyası), and Blue Woman (Mavi Kadın) on digital platforms. It offers sustainable solutions in areas such as increasing follower engagement, strengthening digital visibility, and optimizing content strategies, while also conducting strategic studies on the development of new digital platforms that appeal to different target audiences.
Through new projects implemented during the year, Digital Assets further strengthened the digital identity of the İhlas Media Group; particularly by creating unique brands on social media platforms and establishing strong interaction with different audiences. Digital brands appealing to different interests have been created with the youth-focused content platform Genç TG, the sports-oriented XTG Spor, and IDA E-Sports for e-sports-enthusiasts. Especially in the field of e-sports, Digital Assets, not limited to content creation, deepens interaction in this area and creates dynamic digital communities by participating in tournaments organized in various popular games, primarily PUBG Mobile, with its professional team established under the brandname IDA E-Sports.
In 2024, Digital Assets took a strategic step by accelerating its technology-focused transformation process and started operating in the Yıldız Technical University Technopark. The first of the project-based studies initiated within this scope is aimed at strengthening the infrastructure of the digital publishing platforms within the İhlas Media Group. The content management system (CMS) project, developed with Technopark approval and artificial intelligence support, aims to enable all our news outlets to benefit from the latest technology to the maximum extent and to eliminate external dependence. It is planned that all our news sites will be integrated into this innovative infrastructure within 2025. Thus, while user experience and editorial efficiency will be increased with artificial intelligence support, the aim is to minimize possible operational errors. With this investment, İhlas Media Group gains a strong and competitive infrastructure in line with its sustainable technology vision in digital publishing.
To improve the user experience of turkiyetoday.com, mavikadin.com, and turkiyedeisdunyasi.com, websites operating under the umbrella of Digital Assets, the design and system infrastructures have been comprehensively revamped. During this transformation, our content delivery network (CDN) infrastructure was strengthened with solutions from ByteDance, a global technology leader; and CDNetworks was chosen for additional backup support. To elevate data management and security to the highest level, our data center was migrated to the world-class Equinix infrastructure. In the field of artificial intelligence technologies, closed-loop systems and GPU farming infrastructures were created to reduce external dependence; and specially configured open-source models have been actively implemented.
Furthermore, dedicated live streaming infrastructures have been established within the company to ensure uninterrupted broadcasting of TGRT branded television channels via YouTube, web, and mobile applications. Mobile and web push notification systems were developed entirely internally, eliminating reliance on external services. These steps not only ensure the sustainability of existing digital projects but also enable Digital Assets to become a dynamic and innovative structure that opens up space for new technology-focused projects.
